The Big Game is right around the corner, and Farmview Market is gearing up for some serious tailgating. Score a touchdown with your guests with some of our favorite tailgating recipes.

A great snack to munch on during the game is our super easy Sriracha Peanuts. Your guests will surely get a kick out of this. There aren’t a lot of ingredients, so this Game Day snack is a win!

SRIRACHA PEANUTS

Ingredients

4 cups             Roasted peanuts
2 tbsp.             Vegetable oil
4 tbsp.             Sriracha hot sauce
1 tsp.               Roasted Garlic powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Thoroughly mix all ingredients in a medium-size mixing bowl, place on cookie sheet in one single layer and roast 6-8 minutes.

For larger batches, extend the time by 5-10 minutes, every 5 minutes open oven and stir around and place back in the oven for remaining time.

Let peanuts dry and cool, serve and enjoy!

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Ingredients

1 lb.                 Spinach, wilted, drained and chopped
1-16 oz. can    Artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
6 oz.                Cream cheese
4 oz.                Heavy cream
2 oz.                Sour cream
4 oz.                Monterey Jack cheese
2 oz.                Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp.           Oregano, dry
1/2 tsp.           Granulated garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a  medium sauce pot, combine cream cheese, heavy cream, 2 oz. of Monterey Jack cheese, oregano and granulated garlic on medium-low heat until cheeses have melted. Whisk to a smooth consistency.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In mixing bowl, combine spinach, artichokes and remaining jack cheese and mix thoroughly. Combine with warm cheese mixture and add salt and pepper to taste.

Place mixture in a 9×11 casserole/baking dish and top with parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until parmesan cheese is golden brown.
