Ingredients:
4lbs Rock House Farm Chuck Roast
2 onions, quartered
4 celery stalks, cut into thirds
6-8 carrots, peeled and cut into 2-in. pieces
4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
Seasoning salt, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300F.
- Place roast in a 15”x10”(4-quart) baking dish.
- Surround roast with onions, celery, carrots, and potatoes.
- Generously season roast and vegetables with seasoning salt and garlic powder.
- Fill bottom of the baking dish with water, ¼ inch deep.
- Tightly cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 4 hours. The roast is ready when it’s fall apart tender.
