Workshop includes a personalized and signed copy of Lynette’s “Treasures for Tots” cookbook, a demonstration of a sample recipe from the cookbook to enjoy during the class, and a healthy snack to take home.
Spend a winter morning learning the basics of involving kids in the kitchen with cookbook author Lynette Kelly as she guides you and your child through the process of making a healthy meal while bonding as a family and having lots of fun. You will learn and taste test tried and true ‘young kitchen helper’ friendly recipes, and you will leave with new ideas, recipes and a workbook written by Lynette! Designed to educate both the parent and child about healthy eating, the workshop will jump start your family’s exciting experiences in the kitchen.
This will be a perfect morning out for a stay-at-home moms and dads and the little ones, or for homeschool students and parents who want to learn more about cooking with supervision. Parents are asked to remain with students since this workshop focuses on building relationships while working together. Lynette will share some of her own experiences of working with her sons in the kitchen, both of whom became kitchen assistants at two years old!
At the end of class, Lynette will personalize your copy of her “Treasures for Tots” cookbook, which is included in the registration fee. Lynette will also be available to answer questions to help you get your family cooking together in the kitchen!
Class is limited to 4 families (children age 4-10)

Lynette was born in New York but moved to New Bern, NC, the home of Pepsi, when she was seven. She met and married her husband Keith in New Bern, but they moved to Georgia five years ago when her husband became Head Golf Professional at Harbor Club in Greensboro. Lynette is a stay-at-home mom, cookbook author and health educator/health consultant who has a true passion for healthy eating and having fun in the kitchen with her two young boys. Recently, one of Lynette’s sandwich creations was featured on the ABC show THE CHEW with renowned chefs Michael Symon and Carla Hall and co-host Clinton Kelly. Lynette and her family live in Eatonton where she enjoys creating with her kids in the kitchen.
