Join jam-maker, bread-baker and farmer Lori Smith for an evening of hands-on fun as she returns to Farmview Schoolhouse to teach the ins-and outs of refrigerator PICKLES that taste delicious but do not require processing. The focus for this class will be 24-hour Sweet Pickles and 24-hour Dill Pickles.
In this evening workshop, you will enjoy learning Lori's techniques and recipes for making refrigerated pickles that will delight the whole family at your next cook-out. You will take home two jars of pickles (dill/sweet), Lori's recipes, and lots new skills for preserving that do not require an understanding of canning procedures. Making pickles can be fun for the entire family!
