On Sunday, April 16th families will come together to celebrate Easter. This holiday of renewal brings spring flowers, an end to Lent, and Easter dinner. Here in the South, it’s a tradition to serve ham for Easter dinner. This is probably due to the fact that ham was once the only meat available during the lean winter months. But, enough history! Let’s talk ham.
Did you know that you should pre-order your holiday hams at least four weeks in advance? That way, you can be assured that your ham is properly cured before you serve it for Easter dinner. Then, you’ll need at least two roasting pans and a whole lot of patience because cooking your own ham in an oven can take up to 40 minutes per pound! It can be quite a daunting challenge.
If you’re facing the daunting task of preparing your Easter dinner, why not ease your fears with Farmview Market? This holiday, you can relax and enjoy your Easter because you’ll have purchased a complete Easter dinner! Our Market is taking orders now for our fully home-cooked dinners. All you have to do is pick it up.
Imagine, sitting down at your dinner table with a full course meal and no dirty dishes. We will be offering a range of holiday favorites to choose from, including the Southern staple, ham. Our ham is boneless and is locally sourced and full of flavor. We’re also serving up sides like macaroni and cheese, green beans, and creamed corn. You can even purchase homemade desserts, like coconut custard or pecan pie.
Enjoy your Easter dinner without having to worry about the ham! Or any other side for that matter. Farmview has it all and all you have to do is pre-order and pick it up. Be sure to fill out your order forms soon, because these full-course meals won’t last long. Simply fill out your order form and take it to our Market. You can also order by phone. Then, pick your meal up in our store and take it home to enjoy. Happy Easter!
