There are so many things to love about summer, but none so much as the age-old tradition of standing by a grill with a cold drink in one hand and a pair of tongs in the other, using fire to make dinner. Whether you’re away at the beach or just wishing you were, grilling is what we do during the summer. Check out a special grilling recipe at the end of this article.
From the simple (corn on the cob) to the sublime (grilled bananas), there is almost nothing that doesn’t taste better when it’s grilled. No matter if it’s cooked on a charcoal grill, a gas grill, or over an open flame, (ok, that last one doesn’t happen very often); food just tastes better when it has char marks and smells of smoke.
