Farmview Cafe: Introducing our 2016 Menu
Here at Farmview, we’re constantly looking for innovation. To honor our Renaissance-like spirit, our chefs figured it was time for some changes in the kitchen. So, Chef Jeff got to work and revamped our entire Farmview Café’s menu! We’ve added some new items and kept some of our visitors’ favorite #FarmersPlateSpecials too! Now, you can enjoy Catfish Friday, every day!
Chef Jeff and the entire crew of the Café joined together and created a whirlwind of new tasty treats. After the dust settled, the “New” count stood at five entrees, two salads, six desserts, five side dishes, and a burger that will knock your socks off! You’ll have to join us at the Café to sample every new item we have, but we’re going to let you in on some of our favorite new additions! Speaking of that knock-out burger, allow us to introduce The Old-Fashioned Burger. We took the most flavorful, local ground beef and grilled it to perfection. Then, we topped it with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion and serve it on a Bread & Butter brioche bun. This is the perfect burger to enjoy over lunch, because it comes in a palatable 4 oz. portion.
If you’re feeling a bit nostalgic, why not order our new Farmview Grilled Cheese? It has all the comforts of your childhood favorite, but the flavors are nothing but grow-up. We took a blend of Farmers cheese and sharp cheddar cheese and melted them together. Next up, we added sweet and tart Granny Smith apples and fresh Farmview bacon and served our grilled cheese on Luna wheat bread. Or, sample a new spin on your mother’s best pork chops, with our Grilled Heritage Pork Chops. Our chops are served with an apple cider vinegar reduction, sautéed summer squash and zucchini, and a cold Georgia 3-pea salad. Try it with our newest salad additions, like our new Southern Cobb Salad; it comes complete with Reedy Creek greens, local cherry tomatoes, Farmers cheese, Farmview bacon and deviled eggs.
You must be salivating right now! Come satiate your hunger and your curiosity, by eating these new items for yourself. Join us Monday through Saturday, from 11am to 3pm for lunch. And, don’t forget the most important meal of the day! We’re open for breakfast too, from 7am to 10:30am. Did we mention, you can now order everyone’s favorite Farmview Cinnamon Buns for breakfast? Set your alarms early, hop out of bed, skip that lunch meeting, and head to Farmview!
